Commission process

Here are the basic things you will need when approaching me for a commission;

 

  1. Your character - you do not need a full ref sheet but a visual depiction or very detailed description is required. 

  2. Your idea - I will ask if you have any preferences for the pose, expression, accessories, clothing etc for the piece, but I am also happy to have creative freedom if that’s what you’d prefer.

  3. Email for PayPal invoice (please let me know if you would like the invoice in AUD otherwise it will be sent in USD), OR I will provide my PayID info for people with Australian bank accounts.

The process usually goes as follows;

 

  1. We discuss your commission and work out the details.

  2. Payment upfront is preferred but if you would like to pay after the initial sketch please let me know.

  3. I provide an initial sketch for your approval and make any provisions as required.

  4. I send an update when the piece is coloured to check markings and colours are correct. Any changes are made as required.

  5. This may be repeated depending on the complexity of the commission.

  6. Once the final piece is approved, I can email you the files or send them via telegram or discord. 

 

As a note, it is best to be upfront about any issues as soon as you notice them or are feeling unsure. Fixing issues earlier allows for a more streamlined process. You won’t upset me, I want you to be completely happy with your art!

Timeframes

Commissions are usually completed within 3 weeks, but may take up to two months. If you have a date in mind you would like the artwork completed for (birthday, event etc.) please let me know and I will do my best to meet it or let you know I won’t be able to.

Terms of Service

By commissioning me, you are agreeing to these terms of service;

 

RIGHT TO DECLINE:
I have the right to decline your commission upfront, and the right to terminate the commission at any time (see refunding policy).

 

PAYMENT PROCESS:
I use Paypal invoices for payment and will require your Paypal email.
The invoice will be sent after finalising details. 

 

I can also use PayID for Australian customers. My PayID is rubybugart@hotmail.com.

 

Payment isn't required until after the sketch is approved, but prompt payment will result in a faster process.

 

CANCELLATION:
You may cancel your commission at any time for any reason. See below for the refund policy and keep this in mind when commissioning.

 

REFUND POLICY:

  • If you cancel your commission and I have not started or completed the initial sketch you will get a full refund.

  • If I have completed the lines/colour you will get a 50% refund.

  • If I am unable to complete the commission you will get a full refund.

  • Refunds cannot be provided once the artwork is complete. 

 

POST COMMISSION:
Please credit me if you re-upload the image.
Credit would be appreciated when using the work as an icon, on your page etc. but is not required.
 

You have the right the use the works in any way you desire BUT;

 

Please discuss with me if you would like to use the work commercially upfront when contacting me. This means you cannot produce prints, stickers, etc. to profit from my work without discussing licensing with me first.

Do not use my artwork for AI generation.

 

If you edit the work and re-upload it, you must still credit me. Please do not remove my watermark.

Do not claim the work as your own.

WHAT I WILL DRAW:

  • Furries / anthros of any species

  • Ferals / quads of any species

  • Fan characters (Pokemon, Digimon, Warrior Cats etc.)

  • Robotic characters

  • Humans (I will try my best)

  • Pin up / suggestive style artwork

  • Blood

WHAT I WON'T DRAW:

  • explicit nudity

  • extreme violence

  • Instagram
  • Facebook
  • Twitter
  • Tumblr
